Merlin's Minty Cards LLC (“we,” “us”) runs this website. You can reach us at merlinsmintycardsllc@gmail.com for any privacy question, including the requests described below.

Just browsing? The public pages (Home, Shows, About, Dictionary, Articles) don't require an account and don't run any advertising or analytics trackers — we don't know who's visiting.

Signing in. The Inventory Search tool requires an account. Creating one collects an email address and a password, handled by our authentication provider (Amazon Cognito) — we never see or store your password ourselves.

Using the chat assistant. If you use Inventory Search's chat mode, what you type is sent to an AI service (Claude, via Amazon Bedrock) to generate a response, and the conversation is saved to your account so you can come back to it later. See “How long we keep things” below for how long that lasts and how to delete it.

We do not collect payment information through this website. Merlin's Minty Cards doesn't sell, ship, or take payment online — every purchase, sale, and trade happens in person at a show or meetup, so no card or payment data ever passes through this site.

• To let you sign in and keep your account secure.
• To run the chat assistant and show you your own conversation history.
• To keep the site working and secure (e.g. rate-limiting abusive traffic) — never to build an advertising profile of you.

We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with advertisers. It passes through the vendors that run the site itself:

• Amazon Web Services — hosting, authentication (Cognito), and the database that stores your account and chat history.
• Anthropic, via Amazon Bedrock — generates the chat assistant's replies to messages you send it.
• Sanity — the content system behind the Articles and Dictionary pages (which don't require an account to read).

We may disclose information if legally required to, or to protect the site from abuse.

The website sets one cookie, used only to keep you signed in — no advertising or tracking cookies. Details are in our Cookie Policy.

• Chat conversations automatically expire after six months, and only your most recent 50 are kept.
• Your account is kept until you ask us to delete it (see “Your choices” below).

You can delete a single chat conversation, or all of them, at any time from the history menu in Inventory Search's chat mode — nothing else needs to happen, and it takes effect immediately.

To delete your account entirely, or to ask what information we hold about you, email merlinsmintycardsllc@gmail.com from the address on the account. We're a small, in-person business — expect a personal reply, and we'll confirm once it's done rather than leaving you wondering.

This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we'll remove it.

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
